Refunds and right of withdrawal
The refund and withdrawal terms that apply to RichBinder purchases and subscriptions.
RichBinder is sold online through Paddle. For purchases made through Paddle, Paddle acts as the authorised reseller of RichBinder, concluding the sale and processing the payment, while ROZIN Solution is the supplier that develops RichBinder and provides the product and the licence.
The policy below is the refund standard we apply to RichBinder. Where applicable law or Paddle’s own policy guarantees the consumer more favourable rights than the standards below, we apply the more favourable standard.
Effective date: 2026-09-26
1. At a glance
- Within 14 days of the first payment
- Full refund
- Within 14 days of an auto-renewal payment
- Full refund of that renewal payment
- Ending a subscription after 14 days
- Choose cancellation at period end, or immediate cancellation
- Immediate cancellation of a subscription
- The unused period refunded pro rata
- Product differs from what was stated, advertised, or agreed
- Refund or withdrawal under applicable law
- Perpetual licence
- Full refund within 14 days; afterwards, where a statutory ground for refund exists
- Free trial
- No payment is taken, so there is nothing to refund
2. A full refund within 14 days of payment
If you request a refund within 14 days of purchasing RichBinder, we refund that payment in full, whatever your reason.
This 14-day refund policy applies even if you have already downloaded, installed, or run the program.
You do not have to explain why you want the refund.
If, on a first purchase, the licence was actually made available later than the payment date, we do not count the period from an earlier date to your disadvantage. Where applicable law recognises a longer withdrawal period, that period applies.
Auto-renewals are treated the same way
Where a monthly or annual subscription has renewed automatically, if you make a request within 14 days of that renewal payment, we refund that renewal payment in full and end the subscription.
3. When the product differs from what was stated
In the following cases, the rights of withdrawal and refund under applicable law apply in addition to the 14-day policy above.
- The product actually provided differs from what was stated on the purchase screen or in the product description
- A major feature stated as available under the licence you bought is not provided
- A valid licence is not issued, or cannot be activated, through the fault of the company
- The product or service is otherwise provided differently from what was agreed
In such cases we handle the matter within the period and by the procedure that applicable law prescribes.
Inferential features such as OCR and automatic classification
OCR, automatic classification, form recognition and similar features produce results that vary with the quality and the form of the input document.
Accordingly, the mere fact that a recognition error occurred on an individual document is not in itself a defect of the product as a whole, nor an automatic ground for a refund.
That said, where statements or advertising about what the product actually provides or how it performs are untrue, or where a contracted feature is not properly provided at all, rights under applicable law are not restricted.
4. How to cancel a monthly or annual subscription
You can cancel a subscription at any time.
You may choose either of the following two methods.
① Use it to the end of the current billing period, then stop
You keep your current licence for the rest of the period and stop the automatic renewal from the next payment onwards.
- Monthly billing: use until the end of the current monthly billing period
- Annual billing: use until the end of the current annual billing period
- No further payment from the next billing date
- You use the whole period already paid for, so there is no separate partial refund
If you choose this method, your licence stays valid until the last day of the current billing period.
② Cancel now and have the remaining period refunded
If you want to stop before the end of the current billing period, you can be refunded the amount corresponding to the unused period.
This applies in the same way to monthly and to annual billing.
Taking the amount you actually paid as the basis, we return the portion corresponding to the period you have not used.
Even if you received a discount for paying annually, we do not recalculate at the monthly list price, and we do not claw back the annual discount you have already received.
Nor do we charge an early termination penalty.
How it is calculated
- The base amount is the amount you actually paid for that period of use. If any amount has already been refunded to you or settled as credit, we take that into account so that nothing is counted twice.
- The base period is the period of use that the payment covers. If you added devices during the period and paid more, that payment too is calculated in the same way and returned together with the rest.
- The reference point is the moment you request immediate cancellation.
- If the calculation leaves an amount smaller than the smallest unit of that currency, we settle it in the direction that is not to your disadvantage.
The cancellation confirmation screen calculates the amount you will get back from your actual payment records and the remaining period, and shows it to you in advance. You do not need to work it out yourself.
No pro-rata calculation within 14 days
If the payment — whether the first payment or a renewal — qualifies for the 14-day full refund, we do not apply the pro-rata formula above and refund that payment in full.
5. Refunds and the end of your licence
Once a refund is approved, the licence granted by that purchase ends with it.
Full refund
The licence or subscription granted by that payment ends.
Immediate cancellation with a partial refund
The refund amount is calculated as at the time the immediate cancellation request is received.
Approving the refund and ending the licence may take some time to be reflected in our systems, but we do not reduce your refund because of that processing time.
Cancellation at period end
This is a way of continuing to use the current billing period without a refund, so the licence stays valid until the end of that billing period.
6. How refunds are processed
Amounts paid through Paddle are refunded to the original payment method through the Paddle refund procedure.
You may request a refund from ROZIN Solution, or use the buyer support procedure that Paddle provides.
Once a refund request is received, we carry out the necessary checks and the payment provider’s refund procedure without delay.
Where applicable law sets a separate deadline for refunds, that statutory deadline prevails.
Note, however, that after the company or Paddle has completed the refund, the point at which it appears on your card statement or in your bank account may take additional time, because of the processing schedules of the card issuer, the bank, or the payment method.
Refund fees
We deduct no separate amount under any of the following headings.
- Refund fee
- Cancellation fee
- Early termination penalty
- Clawback of an annual discount
However, in the particular cases where applicable law provides that a certain amount is to be borne separately, that law applies.
7. Perpetual licences
A perpetual licence is a product you pay for once and may then use without a time limit, for the version that the licence specifies.
Within 14 days of payment
We refund in full.
After 14 days
Except where a ground for refund recognised by applicable law exists — for instance the product differs from what was stated or advertised, or is provided differently from what was agreed — we do not offer refunds for a simple change of mind.
Updates
If the perpetual licence is a product that includes 12 months of updates, it includes the updates provided during the 12 months from the date of purchase.
After those 12 months, the perpetual licence itself, for the version you have already acquired the right to use, does not automatically lapse.
Whether an update extension product is sold, and on what terms, is stated separately and clearly on the purchase screen so that you can check before buying.
8. Free trial
The RichBinder free trial involves no payment, so there is nothing to refund.
We do not ask you to register a card for the free trial, and we do not charge you automatically merely because the trial period has ended.
The product features and licence status that apply after the trial ends are shown on the trial screen and in the product information so that you can check them.
9. Payments made by minors
Where a minor has made a payment without the consent of their legal representative, applicable law may recognise a right to cancel that transaction.
If cancellation is requested, we may ask for the minimum information needed to handle it, such as evidence of the payment and of the legal representative relationship.
This refund policy does not limit the statutory right of cancellation for transactions made by minors.
10. We do not make refund requests difficult
ROZIN Solution does not use any of the following in order to obstruct a refund or a subscription cancellation.
- Deliberately hiding the cancellation menu
- Making a phone call the only way to cancel
- Requiring a reason to be submitted in order to receive the 14-day full refund
- Refusing the 14-day refund the company has promised merely because the software was downloaded or installed
- Charging a separate penalty or refund fee because of a refund
- Failing to answer a legitimate refund request and deliberately delaying it

Payment through Paddle
For purchases made through Paddle, Paddle acts as the authorised reseller of RichBinder, concluding the sale and processing the payment, while ROZIN Solution is the supplier that develops RichBinder and provides the product and the licence.
When you pay through Paddle in Korea, your card or payment statement may show a name related to Paddle rather than ROZIN Solution.
A refund for a Paddle payment can be requested from ROZIN Solution or through Paddle’s buyer support procedure. Whichever route you choose, the refund is made to the original payment method through the Paddle refund procedure.
