Updates
RichBinder ships updates through its own in-app updater rather than an app store. Background auto-update is disabled entirely — the app contacts our server only when an administrator explicitly asks it to check.
Checking for updates manually
- 1Open Settings from the ⚙ at the top right of the app, then pick Updates in the list on the left.
- 2Click Check now.
- 3When a new version is found, the release notes are shown and the download begins only on your explicit approval.
The current published release is 1.0.22.
Perpetual licence — permanent use, with a defined update window
A perpetual licence grants a permanent right to use the software. When the included update window ends, the last version released within it keeps working indefinitely.

Installer integrity check
The in-app updater runs a downloaded installer only when its SHA-256 hash matches the published manifest exactly. On any mismatch the file is treated as tampered with: it is deleted locally and the process stops. This blocks malware delivered through a compromised distribution server or a man-in-the-middle attack — a supply-chain attack.
The installer uses a self-signed certificate, so Windows shows an “unknown publisher” warning during installation. If the SHA-256 checksum on this page matches the file you downloaded, it is the official build.
